Streamliner “Pump”: Inspired by the Reebok Pump

H. Moser & Cie. presents two distinct visions at Watches & Wonders 2026. The Streamliner “Pump” transforms winding into a physical gesture, inspired by the Reebok Pump, replacing the crown with a push mechanism. Meanwhile, the brand applies its conceptual approach to a tantalum perpetual calendar, distilling displays to their essence and letting materials define the watch.

In 1989, Reebok launched the Pump, a sneaker with an internal inflation system that tightens the fit at the push of a button. It quickly became a cult icon, defined as much by this simple gesture as by its performance. H. Moser & Cie. integrates this idea into watchmaking with the Streamliner Pump. The traditional crown is replaced by an anodized aluminum button; each press winds the movement and adds approximately one hour of power reserve, shown directly on the dial.

To achieve this, the HMC 500 has been redesigned from an automatic micro-rotor to a hand-wound caliber. The micro-rotor is removed to make space for a new gear train connecting the pusher to the barrel, visible beneath a skeletonized bridge.

The watch features a forged quartz fiber case, a rare composite in watchmaking. Compression-molded and bonded with injected resin, it creates a light matte finish with natural moiré patterns. An internal titanium structure provides rigidity and water resistance, while the 40 mm case remains lightweight on the wrist.

The Endeavour Perpetual Calendar Concept Tantalum continues the brand’s conceptual philosophy, removing nearly all visual elements from the dial. No logo, no markers, nothing unnecessary. While the idea is not new, this year’s highlight is the material. The case and dial are crafted from untreated solid tantalum with a brushed sunburst finish, revealing the metal’s raw character.

Despite its minimalism, it remains highly functional. It is a full perpetual calendar: the date is shown in a large, legible window, the month by a small central hand. A power reserve indicator sits at 9 o’clock, small seconds at 6 o’clock.

Powered by the hand-wound HMC 800 caliber, it offers a 7-day power reserve and complete perpetual calendar functions, including a leap-year cycle displayed on the caseback. All adjustments are made via the crown.
