The core concept of the Ressence Type 3 Oil Temperature Display Watch lies in its oil-filled dial system.
Both the dial and sapphire crystal are completely filled with colorless oil, eliminating refraction and creating a visual illusion where the display appears printed directly onto the crystal.
This results in unparalleled legibility under all angles.

However, fluctuations in oil temperature may impact precision. To solve this, Ressence adds a dedicated oil temperature indicator positioned between the minute and seconds discs, with a temperature scale ranging from -5°C to 55°C.

Ressence Type 3 Movement & Display System

The Ressence Type 3 Oil Temperature Display Watch is driven by the brand’s in-house developed ROCS 3.2 patented display module, built on a heavily reworked ETA base movement.
Instead of traditional hands, the time is shown through rotating discs:

Peripheral date disc with orange pointer at 6 o’clock

All discs rotate together clockwise, meaning every indication is constantly moving.
