If you’re a reader of Fitzgerald and have seen the 1974 Coppola-scripted version of The Great Gatsby, then you surely have your own unique perspective on the Leonardo DiCaprio version of Gatsby.
“It was the best of times, it was the worst of times,” and all the overly dramatic depictions of high society in the new film are ironically full of absurd conflict. Yet, the only thing that truly brings us peace throughout the film is the pure brilliance of the jewelry. Daisy (Carey Mulligan) wears the Savoy headpiece, an elegant accessory featuring diamonds and pearls that adorns her golden short hair in the Bob style. On her wrist, she wears a hand accessory made from a Tiffany Setting diamond ring and a daisy motif.
