RICHARD MILLE RM 33-03 Ultra-Thin Watch Overview
The new RICHARD MILLE RM 33-03 continues the design lineage of the classic RM 33 ultra-thin round case, now upgraded with a small seconds subdial at 6 o’clock — the first time this feature appears in the RM 33 series. The watch is powered by the new RMXP3 automatic skeletonized movement and is available in two case options: grade 5 titanium and Carbon TPT®.
The case measures 41.7mm in diameter and only 9.7mm in thickness. The ergonomic curved case back ensures a comfortable fit on the wrist.
The titanium version features a middle case, bezel, and lugs fully crafted from grade 5 titanium, enhanced with brushing, satin finishing, and polishing.
The Carbon TPT® version uses a Carbon TPT® upper structure paired with a rose gold middle case, combining the unique carbon-wave pattern with a warm metallic contrast.
Dial and Display
The skeletonized titanium dial reveals the mechanical layout of the movement. At 1 o’clock, the mainspring barrel’s winding state is visible. A date window sits at 4 o’clock, while the new small seconds subdial is located at 6 o’clock.
Raised Arabic numerals at 3, 9, and 12 o’clock provide strong visual structure, paired with rose-gold skeletonized hands. Super-LumiNova coating ensures legibility in low light.
Movement and Performance
The RM 33-03 is equipped with the RMXP3 automatic skeletonized movement, running at 21,600 vibrations per hour with a 40-hour power reserve.
The movement measures only 3.28mm thick and features a grade 5 titanium baseplate, black PVD-treated bridges, and finishing techniques such as sandblasting, satin-brushing, and hand-beveling.
The platinum eccentric micro-rotor enhances winding efficiency while keeping the movement ultra-thin.
