For inspiration, the ring name is
“Lierre de Paris”
which in French means
“Paris Ivy Leaves”.
The designer created a
clear crystal dome to “seal” the ivy leaves covered with diamonds, capturing the moment when the leaves naturally fall.
“Ivy Leaves”
are one of Boucheron’s oldest jewelry elements—dating back to the 1880s, Boucheron’s co-designer
Paul Legrand created an ivy leaf necklace that naturally encircled the neck, forming a
“question mark”
shape, with 9 ivy leaves of different sizes hanging from one side of the vine, gently trembling with the wearer’s movements.
Lierre de Paris Ring
presents a more
quiet temperament,
with the entire piece
pure white tones,
carefully crafted with
mother of pearl
as the base, complemented by a
carved crystal dome.
Through the crystal, you can see the halberd-shaped ivy leaves, set with
round-cut diamonds,
and the leaves are hollowed out in the center, revealing intricate vein outlines. The dome is lightly covered with multiple curled ivy leaves, creating a rich visual depth.
The ring setting is designed with
a rounded curved outline,
transitioning beautifully into the dome-shaped ring surface. On the inside of the ring wall, you can also see leaf-shaped carvings, naturally echoing the “Ivy Leaf” theme.
