RICHARD MILLE RM 30-01 Le Mans Classic Limited Edition Watch

The Richard Mille RM 30-01 Le Mans Classic is a limited-edition watch created by Richard Mille, the official partner of the Le Mans Endurance Race, to celebrate the 12th Le Mans Classic. This model keeps the exclusive “clutch rotor” winding system and incorporates the iconic white and green racing colors. For the first time, it features a dedicated 24-hour indicator disc in tribute to the race’s rules.

Case and Materials

The new watch comes with a tonneau-shaped case measuring 42mm x 49.94mm and a thickness of 17.59mm. The main case is crafted from Grade 5 titanium with a satin-brushed grey texture, while the middle case uses green Quartz TPT. The titanium crown is wrapped in orange rubber and designed like a racing wheel hub. A button at 2 o’clock switches between crown functions.

Dial and Display

The skeletonized dial echoes the curves of a racing track, with the standout feature being the 24-hour indicator disc at 2 o’clock. A blue triangular hand displays the hour using a 24-hour format, mirroring Le Mans race timing. The number 16 is marked in green, symbolizing the event’s legendary green-flag start.

At 3 o’clock sits a crown function indicator. At 4 o’clock, a large double-digit date window is accented with black-and-white checkered flag graphics. From 9 o’clock to 12 o’clock is the power reserve indicator, and the top left displays the ON/OFF status for the clutch rotor—a mechanism that disengages once fully wound.

Movement

The watch runs on the RMAR2 automatic movement with a frequency of 28,800 vph and a 55-hour power reserve. Through the sapphire crystal caseback, the Le Mans Classic checkered flag logo is visible, along with the movement’s PVD coating, sandblasting, polishing, and beveling.

The watch is paired with a green rubber strap and is limited to 150 pieces.
