German jeweler Hemmerle introduced this set in 2018 as part of their “Revived Treasures” collection, featuring the “Archaeological Revival Jewelry” style. The most unique feature of this set is the direct inlay of Faience pottery pieces as the main stones, bringing ancient Egyptian civilization back to life in modern jewelry. 
This collection uses Faience pottery shards dating back to Late Ancient Egypt (664-332 B.C.), featuring the Egyptian gods known as “The Four Sons of Horus”. The shards present a three-dimensional relief of deities with jackal, falcon, baboon, and human heads. To naturally integrate the Faience shards into the jewelry design, Hemmerle used the original string holes of the pottery, securing them with 6 round brown diamonds inlaid as studs. The pottery shards are encased in bronze, designed in a “temple” contour, and the surface is covered with inverted mosaic brown diamonds, matching the color tone formed by the natural decay of the pottery. 
Sons of Horus earrings feature two pottery pieces, one with a falcon head and the other with a baboon head. The earrings are designed in a spherical outline, with the surface inlaid with inverted brown diamonds, echoing the “temple” structure. The back of the earring is engraved with ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs. 
Sons of Horus bracelet has a semi-open design. The ends of the bracelet are extended with pottery pieces featuring human and jackal heads. The wide side walls are adorned with peridot, smoky quartz, crystal, carnelian, and emerald beads, showcasing a simple and understated color palette.
