The watch is powered by the L043.8 manual-winding movement, now offering a 72-hour power reserve—double that of the first-generation Zeitwerk. With 516 components, the calibre incorporates a patented constant-force escapement to maintain stable energy transmission for the digital jumping displays. At midnight, the hour, minute, and calendar indications jump simultaneously, significantly increasing mechanical complexity.
