This Delights ring is part of Cartier’s Paris Nouvelle Vague collection released this year, drawing inspiration from one of Paris’s 
most whimsical icons — Chantilly cream.
At its center sits a cabochon-cut chalcedony, chosen for its naturally undulating striations that evoke the soft, swirling texture of whipped cream. The gem’s gentle lilac hue and smooth polish capture the luscious appeal of a Parisian dessert.
The “cupcake” base supporting the chalcedony is fully pavé-set with diamonds, its rounded silhouette echoing the creamy contours above. Between the cup and the cream, a twisted gold rope motif bridges the two forms — a refined detail that recalls the delicate folds of a paper baking cup.
