The Dans du Fau bracelet takes the “rose” as its motif, featuring an 18.52ct cushion-cut red tourmaline at its heart, representing the flower’s center. This is surrounded by petal-like settings of electrifying blue Paraíba tourmalines in teardrop cuts. Outward-pointing, sharp-edged petals are outlined in white gold and diamonds, with the vivid colors creating a rich visual depth.
The broad bracelet band employs Buccellati’s signature ‘Rigato’ hand-engraving technique. Using a burin, jewelers engrave parallel fine lines onto the gold surface, mimicking the texture of luxurious satin fabrics from the Renaissance period, resulting in a delicate brushed sheen. Each individual engraved line is only 0.3mm wide, demanding exceptional skill and considerable patience from the master artisan.
