Chopard has introduced this striking Floral Black Opal Ring in its Red Carpet high jewelry collection, “Paradise.” Inspired by mythology and nature, the design skillfully features blooming flowers crafted from titanium that cluster around a central black opal. The stone’s unique blue play-of-color, combined with the bright yellow sapphire “stamens,” creates a magnificent, painting-like palette.
The centerpiece of the Flora Ring is a 26.43ct cabochon-cut oval black opal. Dominated by blue-green hues, its magnificent natural play-of-color resembles a mysterious and dreamy ocean, interpreting the collection’s “Paradise” theme.
The ring is surrounded by blooming small flowers made from titanium. Known for being lightweight and strong, titanium can be anodized to achieve a rich spectrum of colors. This ring features clusters of flowers in blue, purple, and silver-white titanium, which extend along the band. The centers of the flowers are set with yellow sapphires, representing the stamens and giving the piece a remarkable visual impact.
