Tiffany introduced this Frame ring in the 2019 Blue Book High Jewelry series, “Jewel Box”. The main stone is a 15.62ct pink spinel. The designer incorporated an architectural “window frame” element into the ring setting design, allowing a three-dimensional structure that lets you appreciate the sparkling fire of gemstones from the side, presenting a floating visual effect.
The 15.62ct pink spinel is rounded with a cushion cut, featuring a clear and transparent crystal with a rich purple-pink hue. Pink is one of the most popular colors of spinel, caused by the element “chromium” (Cr). High-quality pink spinels over 5ct are quite rare and often found in association with rubies.
The spinel main stone is held up by four small prongs, allowing natural light to penetrate the gemstones as much as possible. The frame below is made of gold, featuring a rounded pillow-shaped profile that fits the main stone. The side of the setting consists of eight trapezoidal “window frames,” with four custom-cut diamonds totaling 1.63ct embedded at intervals, letting the diamonds reveal the romantic pink of the spinel.
On the gold ring wall, you can see 12 brilliant square diamonds, seamlessly connecting with the custom-cut diamonds on the sides of the frame, resembling a dazzling diamond ribbon.
