The 46mm white gold cushion case measures only 10.2mm thick. The bezel is set with custom-cut baguette rubies, arranged in graduated sizes that perfectly follow the case’s lines, highlighting the “round outside, square inside” design philosophy. The case sides and lugs are fully pavé-set with custom-cut diamonds, while the inner and outer bezel edges and the crown feature long baguette-cut diamonds.The gemstone setting process required over 136 hours of meticulous work.
The openworked dial features an off-center hour and minute layout, maximizing visibility of the gemstone-set skeleton movement. The movement bridges are adorned with brilliant-cut diamonds, while the rotor and tourbillon cage are set with baguette diamonds. Most striking is the micro-rotor at 9 o’clock, set with custom long baguette-cut rubies forming a fan-shaped pattern.
The watch is powered by Piaget’s in-house 1270D ultra-thin skeletonized tourbillon automatic movement, beating at 21,600 vph with a 40-hour power reserve. Crafted from 14K white gold, it comprises 214 components and measures just 6mm thick. The sapphire caseback reveals the back of the skeleton bridges, also fully set with diamonds, with rubies adding a striking visual accent.The timepiece comes with a red alligator leather strap, and each watch is individually numbered.
