This is currently the world’s thinnest minute repeater, with a thickness of just 7.9mm, making it 1.0mm thinner than Vacheron Constantin’s 1731 minute repeater.

Housed in a 41mm white gold case, the watch features the new Caliber 362 movement, which measures only 4.8mm in thickness and consists of 471 components, with a 45-hour power reserve.

Jaeger-LeCoultre has integrated both the minute repeater and flying tourbillon complications in a super-thin design. In a groundbreaking move, they have made the Caliber 362 an automatic movement, a rare feat in ultra-thin watches. The engineers used a rare peripheral rotor structure to achieve this, making the rotor thinner and larger in diameter. Through the openworked dial, you can clearly see the polished ultra-thin rotor in action.

Another notable feature is the activation of the minute repeater. Instead of the traditional slide lever, the minute repeater is activated by a push button at 10 o’clock, while a safety lock at 8 o’clock slides into place to prevent accidental engagement. This new mechanism makes it more convenient to use, particularly for those who find traditional minute repeater activation cumbersome.

Jaeger-LeCoultre claims to have applied for 8 new patents for this watch, including innovations in the balance wheel, spring, and flying tourbillon. For most watch enthusiasts, the combination of minute repeater, ultra-thin design, and automatic winding is the real allure of this remarkable timepiece.
