In its newly launched Diamond Breeze collection this winter, Van Cleef & Arpels presents three lotus-shaped pendants inspired by the serene beauty of nature under winter snow. Crafted in white gold and diamonds, the design captures the purity of the lotus flower through a tranquil and luminous all-white palette.

White diamond jewelry flourished during the Art Deco era and throughout the 1950s and 1960s, when Van Cleef & Arpels created chokers, bracelets, and brooches entirely in white tones. This collection continues that legacy, celebrating the maison’s fascination with the brilliance of diamonds through meticulous pavé setting, giving each lotus a lifelike, three-dimensional appearance.

The design features petals of graduated sizes, gently cupping a round brilliant-cut diamond at the center that symbolizes the lotus pistil. To suit different pendant sizes, the artisans experimented with various diamond-setting techniques, such as Perle de Rosée grain setting, pavé setting, and openwork craftsmanship, enhancing the brilliance and radiance of each diamond.

In addition to being worn as pendants, these pieces can also be converted into brooches, offering versatile elegance for both everyday wear and formal occasions.
