This bracelet is part of Tiffany & Co.’s 2016 Blue Book High Jewelry Collection, 
“The Art of Transformation.” It features a trio of starfish in fluid, interlocking form, each one gracefully embracing the wrist. The designer captured the organic softness of the starfish, ensuring that every arm naturally follows the curve of the wearer’s wrist for an effortless fit.
Crafted from white gold, the bracelet was cast in a single wax mold, forming a seamless base structure. Each starfish overlaps subtly with its neighbor through one intertwining arm, creating visual movement while maintaining individual distinction. To emphasize this, each starfish is set with different gemstones—the central one with diamonds, the left with pink sapphires, and the right with spessartite garnets.
The starfish arms, shaped with natural curvature, make gem-setting particularly challenging. 
The claws were meticulously adjusted for each type of stone, with the side starfish featuring darkened prongs to unify the overall tone and enhance the color balance.
In addition to this mixed-gem version, Tiffany & Co. also released a full-diamond edition and another combining blue sapphires and tsavorites. The bracelet gained special attention when Cate Blanchett wore the all-diamond version on the red carpet at the 88th Academy Awards in February 2016.
