Rolex Cosmograph Daytona Meteorite Meteorite Dial Chronograph Review

The Rolex Cosmograph Daytona Meteorite was unveiled during the 2021 Watches & Wonders event, introducing a luxurious combination of meteorite dial slices and black subdials. Nicknamed the “Meteorite Panda,” this Daytona model is a collector’s dream for both aesthetics and technical performance.

Design and Dial

The 40mm white gold case perfectly complements the meteorite dial, which reveals natural “longitude and latitude” Weidmann patterns—each dial is unique. Its black Cerachrom ceramic bezel features a PVD platinum-coated tachymeter scale, enhancing legibility and durability. The Daytona tradition continues with a 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock, small seconds at 6 o’clock, and a 12-hour counter at 9 o’clock, with concentric circle decoration on the subdial rings. White gold 3D hour markers filled with Chromalight provide exceptional readability in low light.

Movement and Performance

Powered by the Caliber 4130 automatic movement, the Rolex Cosmograph Daytona Meteorite delivers a 72-hour power reserve. COSC-certified, it features a column wheel and vertical clutch system, while the Parachrom hairspring ensures precision and shock resistance, maintaining -2/+2 seconds per day.

Bracelet and Comfort

The watch is paired with the renowned Oysterflex composite strap, featuring the Easylink extension system for added comfort. The folding Oyster clasp ensures a secure fit, while the water resistance reaches 100 meters, making it suitable for both formal and active lifestyles.

Collector Value

Limited edition with an official price of approximately 34,600 EUR, the Rolex Cosmograph Daytona Meteorite combines craftsmanship, exclusivity, and innovation. Its meteorite dial and iconic design make it a prized piece for collectors worldwide.
