The new model specifically utilizes the same materials as the Alinghi Red Bull Racing team’s ‘AC75’ yacht—stainless steel, titanium, and carbon composite. The 43mm case is constructed from carbon composite, offering a lightweight and comfortable wearing experience while maintaining professional 200-meter water resistance. The bezel and crown pushers are made from titanium, significantly enhancing durability, while the stainless steel caseback is engraved with the sailing team’s logo.
The dial design is also inspired by the ‘AC75’ yacht. The grey-blue base color matches the yacht’s hull, the red seconds hand takes its cue from the stripes on the sails, and the 3 o’clock minute counter, 6 o’clock ‘Pelagos’ inscription, and the 9 o’clock small seconds sub-dial ring are also highlighted in red. Another subtle detail is the team’s name discreetly inscribed on the minute track between 10 and 2 o’clock.
It is powered by the Caliber MT5813 self-winding movement. This movement features a column wheel mechanism and a silicon hairspring, achieving a precision of -2/+4 seconds per day and offering a 70-hour power reserve.
Additionally, the watch features fixed lugs that are particularly well-suited for NATO straps and comes standard with a blue woven fabric NATO strap. The official price is €4,900.
