This panda-themed pendant is part of Qeelin’s “Snowboard Bo Bo” collection, personally designed by Creative Director Dennis Chan and inspired by the joy and freedom of winter snow sports. The design depicts an adorable panda gliding midair on a snowboard, its head and arms freely movable, giving the piece a playful, anthropomorphic charm.
The “Bo Bo” collection is one of Qeelin’s most iconic series, centered on the brand’s beloved panda motif. Since its debut in 2006, Bo Bo has been reimagined in countless whimsical roles — from superhero and pirate to mermaid, Sun Wukong, and golfer — each expressing a unique personality through exquisite craftsmanship.
To recreate the panda’s distinctive black-and-white coloration, the designer alternates between white gold with colorless diamonds and blackened gold with black diamonds for the head, limbs, and body. Flexible joints connect each section, allowing the panda to move fluidly, as if dynamically switching poses while snowboarding.

The snowboarding gear, crafted entirely in rose gold, adds vivid contrast and playful sophistication. The goggles rest naturally on the panda’s forehead, with side straps looping gracefully behind the head. The gloves are rounded and set with sparkling diamonds on the back, while the palms are finished in mirror-polished gold. The boots feature sculpted folds that mimic the panda’s crouching posture, adding a realistic sense of motion.

The snowboard itself is carved from a single piece of white mother-of-pearl, subtly curved upward at both ends. Its finely polished edges and natural iridescence evoke the shimmer of freshly fallen snow. The mounting is cleverly concealed beneath the rose-gold boots, enhancing the illusion of the panda gracefully gliding through the air.
