In the summer of 2021, OMEGA unveiled one of its boldest creations — the Seamaster Diver 300M “Black Black”, an all-black timepiece that pushes monochrome design to its limits. The case, bezel, and dial are all crafted from black zirconium oxide ceramic (ZrO₂), finished with a combination of polished, brushed, and laser-engraved techniques to create striking contrasts and reveal varying depths and textures of black.

The watch measures 43.5 mm in diameter and offers professional-grade 300-meter water resistance. At the 10 o’clock position sits the signature helium escape valve, a hallmark of OMEGA’s professional dive watches. The rotating bezel features a brushed ceramic base with polished, raised minute numerals, producing a highly tactile, sculptural effect under light.
The black ceramic dial carries OMEGA’s signature laser-engraved wave motif, while the hour markers and skeletonized hands are filled with black Super-LumiNova. Under daylight, they appear grey-black, but in darkness they emit a vivid glow — blue for the hour hand and indices, and green for the minute hand and dive-scale dot, ensuring clear legibility underwater.
Through the sapphire crystal caseback, one can admire the beautifully decorated OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Caliber 8806. Operating at 25,200 vph (3.5 Hz), it provides a 55-hour power reserve. The movement has earned Master Chronometer certification from METAS, guaranteeing exceptional precision, magnetic resistance up to 15,000 gauss, and superior finishing including Geneva waves in arabesque on the rotor and bridges.
