The Omega Globemaster Annual Calendar was introduced at Baselworld 2016 as a new addition to the collection. Based on last year’s Globemaster model, this new version incorporates a practical annual calendar complication, with the case size increased from 39mm to 41mm.

We have seen many ways of displaying months on annual calendar watches, yet the Globemaster Annual Calendar offers a truly distinctive approach — the twelve months are printed between the hour markers, each perfectly positioned between the twelve indices, while a separate blue hand points to the current month.

The 41mm stainless steel case remains within the category of dress watches, continuing the Globemaster’s signature design elements — a simple fluted bezel and a dial with twelve faceted sides.
It is powered by the METAS-certified Caliber 8922 Co-Axial movement, with an impressive daily precision of 0 to +5 seconds, meaning it only runs fast but never slow. Twin barrels provide a power reserve of 60 hours.

The estimated retail price is CHF 7,800, and it was scheduled for release in October 2016.
