The original Ref. 3582 was designed by Longines in 1935 specifically for the Czechoslovak Air Force. The case back of this historical model was engraved with the Czech phrase “Majetek Vojenske Spravy“, meaning “Property of the Military Administration”, which led Czechoslovak pilots to nickname it “Majetek“.
The 43mm stainless steel case retains the vintage-style cushion-shaped silhouette, giving it a particularly robust and substantial presence. The internal case structure has been optimized – while the original Majetek’s crystal rotated along with the triangular pointer, the new version allows for independent adjustment of the pointer. This improvement also significantly enhances water and dust resistance. The number “1935” engraved on the case side pays homage to the year the original was introduced.
The small seconds (regulator-style) layout offers a clean and clear display. Pencil-style hands are paired with a rail-track minute circle. The Arabic numeral hour markers and hands are coated with a vintage-style beige luminescent material, creating a strong contrast against the matte black dial.
Powered by the L893.6 self-winding movement, it operates at 25,200 vibrations per hour and offers a 72-hour power reserve.
