Hermès has unveiled a new artistic dial creation in its Arceau collection — the Arceau Robe Légère, inspired by the silk scarf of the same name designed for Hermès by French artist Théo de Gueltz. The dial showcases a silver horse galloping in the wind, adorned in ornate robes, brought to life through the intricate technique of engraved silver foil enamel.

The 38mm 18K rose gold case features the signature Arceau stirrup-shaped lugs, giving the design a sense of rounded elegance and strength. The polished finish enhances its delicate play of light and shadow. The bezel is set with 70 brilliant-cut diamonds, while the crown is adorned with a rose-cut diamond, adding a luxurious and eye-catching touch.

The dial is crafted using engraved silver foil enamel — a demanding artisanal process. The craftsman first applies layers of deep blue enamel to the base plate, firing it in a kiln to achieve rich color. Finely cut pieces of silver foil are then inlaid beneath a translucent layer of enamel and fired multiple times to fuse the materials. The result is a shimmering horse motif that gleams like silver embroidery.

Powered by the Hermès H1912 automatic movement, the watch beats at 28,800 vph with a 50-hour power reserve. The movement’s baseplate and rotor are decorated with the Hermès “H” motif.

Paired with a deep blue alligator leather strap. Official retail price: to be announced.
