Presented at the 2014 Biennale des Antiquaires in Paris, this exquisite floral brooch by Graff combines white and pink diamonds to capture the graceful
moment of a flower in full bloom.
At its heart lies an 8.97-carat Fancy Vivid pink diamond, radiating a warm orangey-pink hue and cut into an elegant pear shape. Surrounding the centerpiece are 19 colorless diamonds totaling 119.84 carats, arranged in a radiating pattern of marquise and pear cuts that mimic the delicate shape of flower petals.
To harmonize with the contrasting diamond colors, the designer used platinum prongs for the colorless diamonds and rose gold prongs for the pink diamond, subtly enhancing the tonal balance of the piece.
Completing the composition, a 38.13-carat D-color, flawless pear-shaped diamond dangles gracefully at the base of the brooch, echoing the central pink diamond and adding a dazzling sense of movement and brilliance.
