This latest interpretation stands out as the first model in the collection to combine a white gold case with a black grand feu enamel dial, delivering a strikingly pure monochrome aesthetic rooted in classical Genevan watchmaking traditions.
The 40mm case is crafted entirely from white gold and measures just 10.3mm in thickness, giving the Chopard L.U.C Quattro Spirit 25 elegant proportions suitable for both formal wear and discreet daily use. Polished surfaces contrast subtly with brushed accents, while the gently curved lugs ensure comfort on the wrist. Sapphire crystal protects both the dial and the movement, reinforcing the watch’s high-end construction.
The black grand feu enamel dial represents one of the most demanding métiers d’art in traditional watchmaking. Fired at approximately 820°C, the enamel undergoes multiple kiln firings before being carefully hand-polished to achieve its deep, mirror-like finish. The crisp white minute track and numerals are then transferred onto the enamel surface, creating exceptional contrast and legibility. At 6 o’clock, the jumping hour aperture displays an instantaneous digital hour, positioned to avoid interference from the centrally mounted minute hand.
Powering the Chopard L.U.C Quattro Spirit 25 is the in-house L.U.C 98.06-L manual-winding movement. Beating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, this caliber is distinguished by its four parallel barrels, a signature feature of Chopard’s Quattro technology. This architecture provides an impressive 8-day power reserve while maintaining consistent energy delivery throughout the running period.
A discreet power reserve indicator is positioned on the case back rather than the dial, preserving the watch’s minimalist frontal appearance. The movement is certified by the Poinçon de Genève, underscoring its compliance with the strictest standards of finishing and mechanical excellence. Through the sapphire case back, collectors can admire refined decorations such as Côtes de Genève, perlage, hand-beveled edges, and gilt inscriptions that reflect Chopard’s dedication to haute horlogerie.
The watch is paired with a black alligator leather strap that complements the dial’s deep enamel tone. A classic pin buckle in white gold completes the ensemble.
