Feathers have long occupied a central place in Boucheron’s design vocabulary. As early as the 19th century, the Maison explored feather-inspired forms in semi-open necklaces that appeared to float effortlessly around the neck. In the

The defining feature of these creations lies in the use of white mother-of-pearl to sculpt the feather vanes. Selected for its luminous, milky tone, the material conveys a sense of purity and softness that closely echoes the natural appearance of real plumage. Each surface is delicately hand-engraved, reproducing the fine branching structure of feathers with remarkable realism.
