The Urban Jürgensen & Sønner Tourbillon Minute Repeater Regulator is one of the most distinctive and sophisticated creations from the Danish watchmaker, unveiled at Baselworld. Combining a regulator-style display with a minute repeater complication, it stands among the rarest forms of haute horlogerie — earning a nomination for the GPHG Best Striking Watch Award.
The 42.5mm platinum case, with a slender 13mm thickness, is impressively slim for a repeater. Its design features a double-stepped bezel and elegant teardrop lugs, perfectly complementing the semi-translucent white enamel dial, which exudes classic refinement.
The regulator dial layout, once popular in the 19th century, emphasizes precision minute reading — with separate sub-dials for hours (at 3 o’clock) and seconds (at 9 o’clock), while the central minute hand sweeps across Arabic numerals and a railway minute track, ensuring excellent legibility.
Beyond its beautiful regulator configuration, the watch houses a minute repeater and a 60-second tourbillon — visible through the sapphire case back, where one can admire the intricate motion of this hand-finished masterpiece.
