This year, Vacheron Constantin continues its signature artistic engraving craftsmanship, a tradition established in 2014. This 14-day power reserve tourbillon is the pinnacle of the collection, with a hand-engraved pattern inspired by the intricate design of water lily leaves. It stands as one of the brand’s highest-level pieces.
The 41mm case is made from 950 platinum, and the outer scale of the dial is in a deep grey color. Despite the intricate engravings, the time readability remains excellent. At the 12 o’clock position, you’ll find a power reserve display, with the scale divided into 14 days, each marked with half-day divisions for precise tracking.
Powered by the Caliber 2260/1 manual-winding movement, this is one of Vacheron Constantin’s thinnest tourbillon movements, with a height of just 6.8mm. Some components of the movement are less than 0.35mm thick, making the engraving process even more challenging—each movement takes over 10 days to complete.
The tourbillon is framed in the classic Maltese cross design, and it rotates once every 60 seconds. The small seconds hand is positioned above the tourbillon frame, enhancing the visual pleasure of time passing.
This manual-winding watch with its extended power reserve is not only practical but also a work of art, combining the beauty of engraving and the tourbillon mechanism. This piece is limited to just one unit, making it an exceptionally rare masterpiece.
