The CT60 introduced by Tiffany this year is a timepiece that seeks to capture the very essence of “New York spirit.” This character is reflected in refined details such as the Empire State Building–inspired hands, outlined sans-serif numerals, and the red triangular tip of the seconds hand—all minimalist yet dynamic. Of course, the word “NEW YORK” printed alongside the logo on the dial reinforces this unmistakable identity. The CT60 Chronograph is the most complex model in the new collection, offering both chronograph and calendar functions. The 3 o’clock subdial measures 30 minutes, the 9 o’clock subdial tracks the running seconds, and a large date window is positioned at 6 o’clock. The red-tipped chronograph seconds hand adds an energetic accent—it seems to propel time forward with determination each time the chronograph is activated.
Inside the 42mm case beats a chronograph movement supplied by La Joux-Perret, the Swiss manufacturer formerly known as Jaquet S.A., renowned for its expertise in crafting complex calibres. Its movements have been used by esteemed brands such as Hublot, Hermès, and those within the Richemont Group.
The watch is available in both stainless steel and rose gold versions, with the blue-dial steel and white-dial rose gold variants standing out as the most refined combinations.
