This striking cocktail ring is a new creation by Mexican designer Colette Steckel, unveiled at this year’s Couture Show. Its most distinctive feature lies in the
blackened gold setting that dramatically highlights the gemstones, paired with a geometric and symmetrical mounting reminiscent of 1970s Gothic-style jewelry.
The ring’s design unfolds in three structural layers. At its center sits a vivid emerald-cut emerald, showcasing exceptional clarity and brilliance in a luminous green hue. Surrounding it, the second layer features an octagonal blackened gold bezel set with bright-cut diamonds, extending the shape of the center stone with refined contrast. Finally, the outermost layer forms a Gothic-inspired cross and octagonal outline, composed of diamonds in varying sizes arranged in intricate patterns — creating a bold, architectural composition that blends vintage allure with contemporary sophistication.
