The latest addition to the Historiques collection, the Toledo 1951 takes inspiration from a square wristwatch first launched in 1951. The redesigned case features more refined curves, a slimmer profile (only 8.9mm thick), and proportions that sit elegantly on a lady’s wrist. The guilloché pattern at the center of the dial has been updated with a more intricate engraving technique, while the open minute track, delicately set with fine bead markers on an 18K gold dial, pays subtle homage to the original 1951 model.

Inside beats the Caliber 2460 SC, an automatic movement equipped with a 22K gold rotor, providing a 40-hour power reserve. True to Vacheron Constantin’s haute horlogerie standards, every movement component is meticulously hand-finished — bridges are hand-beveled and polished, and each screw is mirror-finished by artisans in the Geneva workshop.

As expected, the Toledo 1951 proudly bears the prestigious Poinçon de Genève (Hallmark of Geneva), certifying its exceptional craftsmanship and finishing quality.
