The life of Queen Nazli took a dramatic turn in 1950 when she was stripped of her power and compelled to relocate to the United States. Later, in 1975, facing financial challenges, Queen Nazli entrusted a portion of her magnificent jewelry collection to Sotheby’s for auction, bringing these treasures to a wider audience.

The exceptional legacy of this necklace continued in 2015, when it achieved a remarkable sale price of US$4.282 million, a testament to its enduring beauty, historical significance, and Van Cleef & Arpels’ unparalleled craftsmanship.
