Functional Design and Technical Display
The Richard Mille RM 60-01 features a 50 mm titanium case that provides generous display space for its functional layout. The model includes a large date window at 12 o’clock, a small-seconds counter at 3 o’clock, a month aperture at 4 o’clock, and a 24-hour totalizer at 6 o’clock designed for offshore navigation. At 9 o’clock, the double-layer countdown register allows precise regatta timing and pre-race countdown tracking.
UTC Navigation and 360° Bezel System
A key highlight of the Richard Mille RM 60-01 is its UTC world-time display. The red-tipped UTC hand is positioned at the center of the skeletonized dial. By pointing the hand toward the sun and pressing the button at 8 o’clock, the user can rotate the bezel until the UTC marker aligns with local time. The 360° scale, four cardinal points and the dual-hemisphere ring allow the watch to function as a mechanical nautical compass.
Movement and Materials
Inside the titanium case is the RMAC2 automatic calibre, operating at 28,800 vph and fitted with a flyback chronograph. The twin-barrel system provides a stable 55-hour power reserve.
