In 2021, RICHARD MILLE introduced the RM 07-01 Snow Setting, a diamond-set ladies’ watch featuring the brand’s signature “Snow Setting” technique. Hundreds of diamonds of varying sizes are meticulously set across the watch, creating a dazzling “blanketed in snow” effect.

The Snow Setting technique uses brilliant-cut diamonds ranging from 0.5mm to 1.6mm. The gem setter carefully arranges the diamonds by size and proportion, securing each stone with handcrafted micro prongs. The diamonds are tightly set, producing a shimmering, snow-like coverage across the entire watch.

The tonneau-shaped case is crafted from white gold, with two delicate gold hands at the center of the dial. Beyond the bezel, dial, and bracelet, diamonds are also scattered along the case sides, evoking the image of snowflakes drifting in the wind. Each watch features a unique diamond pattern.

The watch is powered by the CRMA2 automatic skeletonized movement with a 50-hour power reserve. The movement’s baseplate and bridges are made of Grade 5 titanium, highly skeletonized to create an architectural sense of space. The caseback reveals meticulous finishing, including beveling, sandblasting, satin brushing, and polishing.
