The perpetual calendar displays can be quickly adjusted via discreet correctors set into the case band. The bezel is set with 56 graduated round-cut blue sapphires, elegantly outlining the Polo collection’s signature “circle within a square” case design.
The dial is cut from a single piece of blue obsidian. The surface of the gemstone slice exhibits a natural granular texture, making each dial unique. Sub-dials include the month and leap year indication at 12 o’clock, the date at 3 o’clock, a moon phase aperture at 6 o’clock, and the day of the week indicator at 9 o’clock. The hour and minute hands, as well as the hour markers, are coated with dark blue Super-LumiNova for nighttime legibility.
It is powered by the Caliber 1255P self-winding movement, operating at 21,600 vibrations per hour and offering a 42-hour power reserve. This ultra-thin movement, based on the Caliber 1200P from 2010, incorporates additional modules for the perpetual calendar and moon phase complications. The entire movement is just 4mm thick. The blue oscillating weight is adorned with the Piaget coat of arms.
