The women’s moonphase small three-hand watch introduced at Basel this year initially seems like a golden, diamond-reduced version of last year’s Ref.4968. However, upon closer inspection, you’ll notice that the case design has been changed to the more classic “Officer’s style“, with its most prominent features being the vertical lugs and screw-fixed strap bars.

The 33mm gold case is set with 66 bright-cut diamonds on the bezel, highlighting the pearly white dial’s elegance. The classic small three-hand layout is complemented by a 6 o’clock subdial, which seamlessly integrates with the moonphase display—a design Patek Philippe excels at.

The movement is still the Caliber 215 PS LU from last year, an ultra-thin manual winding movement with a thickness of just 3mm. Although the lack of a power reserve display limits the watch’s practicality, some might say, “Ladies’ watches are always wound by someone else.”

The 18K gold Officer’s style case measures 33mm in diameter and is 8.40mm thick, with the bezel set with 66 flawless diamonds (approximately 0.54 carats). The 18K gold hour markers and hands, along with the blue sapphire crystal front and back, frame the Caliber 215 PS LU manual winding movement, featuring 44 hours of power reserve and a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour. The watch comes with a matte pearl-colored alligator leather strap and an 18K gold pin buckle.
