The Parmigiani Toric Techica Carpe is a unique release that integrates gold sculpting art, enamel innovation, and traditional grande complication mechanics into one stunning watch. Inspired by the work of artist Edouard Marcel Sandoz, the dial features three koi fish crafted from gold, with meticulously carved scales, fins, and details, enhanced with enamel and heat-firing techniques. To add realism, delicate “bubbles” are painted around the swimming koi.

The watch highlights the elegance of enamel and gold carvings. Its three subdials are intricately designed but smaller than previous models:

• 12 o’clock: Day display
• 3 o’clock: Day of the week and 30-minute counter
• 9 o’clock: Month display and leap year indicator

The minute repeater is activated uniquely — turn the knurled decorative ring under the bezel by a quarter turn to chime hours, quarter hours, and minutes with dual basilica gongs. This innovation distinguishes the Toric Techica Carpe from conventional repeaters.
