Omega launched the first-generation Bullhead in 1969, originally named the Seamaster Driver. With its unique design and high recognition, it quickly became one of the most sought-after chronographs among collectors.
At the 2013 Basel Watch Fair, Omega announced the latest addition to this classic series – the Seamaster Bullhead. The design continues to feature the iconic elements of the first-generation Bullhead, such as the shield-shaped case, dual sub-dials, and sword-shaped hands.

Improvement is also evident, with more practical 12/24-hour dual time format markings, and the crown and buttons have been enlarged for improved operational comfort. The chronograph pushers are positioned on either side of the 12 o’clock crown, and rotating the 6 o’clock knob allows you to change the inner bezel’s time scale.
The watch is powered by the Omega 3113 coaxial movement, which is equipped with a column-wheel chronograph mechanism. The movement was made by Frederique Piguet, with Omega making some modifications, and offers a 54-hour power reserve. Currently, Omega only uses this movement in this model.
With a price of $9,600, and a limited edition of 669 pieces, this Bullhead chronograph is a highly recommended option if you’re looking for a standout entry-level chronograph.
