To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the “Conquest” name, Longines launched this faithful limited edition reissue of the original 1954 Conquest — the Conquest Heritage 1954–2014. Every detail echoes the initial model, including the fancy “Conquest” script and the sunburst dial, reflecting the era’s distinctive design style.
The case measures 35mm, a typical size in the 1950s, giving the watch a retro feel today. Three case materials are available: stainless steel, rose gold, and yellow gold.
It features a classic three-hand layout, with gold dauphine hands and double diamond hour markers. A particularly elegant detail is the silver ring pattern passing through the hour markers, enhancing both the visual depth and readability — a hallmark of functional aesthetics from that period.
The caseback features the same enamel-decorated seal as the original: the steel version depicts “Swimming Fish”, while the gold and rose gold versions display “Stars at Sea”.
Powered by the Calibre L633 (ETA 2824/2) automatic movement, it offers a 38-hour power reserve.
