Jaeger Le-Copultre This enamel painted watch was gone for this year’s SIHH—- “Master Grand Tourbillon Van Gogh Starry Evening” making use of enamel micro-painting modern technology to illustrate Van Gogh paintings on the dial “Starry Evening” beautiful scenery.
Enamel micro-painting has always been Jaeger Le-Copultre’s ideal dial craft. In 2014 we saw Van Gogh’s”Sunflower” version of Reverso à Eclipse. This year’s”Starry Skies” once again commemorates Van Gogh and includes an extra decorative tourbillon feature.
The bezel of the 43 mm white gold case is established with rubies, drawing out the deepness of the enamel evening sky. The artist paints on a layer of white enamel, and each layer is terminated at a high temperature of 800 degrees to take care of the color. It takes 60 – 70 hours to repaint each dial.
Outfitted with Jaeger Le-Copultre’s own Caliber 978 Self-winding movement, this tourbillon activity launched in 2009 is just one of Jaeger Le-Copultre’s most precise tourbillon movements. It is made up of 302 elements. The tourbillon turns once every 60 seconds and has a power reserve of 45 hours
