BVLGARI introduced two new ultra-thin watches during the 2023 Geneva Watch Days – the Octo Finissimo CarbonGold Perpetual Calendar and the Octo Finissimo CarbonGold Automatic. They feature cases made of carbon fiber paired with rose gold hands, with the unique carbon fiber texture creating a futuristic visual effect. 
The case, dial, and strap of the new models are all cut from ultra-lightweight charcoal grey carbon fiber, giving the watches an exceptional feeling of lightness on the wrist. The hour markers, indices, and crown are rose gold-plated, with the warm tone of the rose gold standing out distinctly against the distinctive carbon fiber backdrop. 
The Octo Finissimo Perpetual Calendar is the seventh BVLGARI timepiece to break an ultra-thin record. This Octo Finissimo CarbonGold Perpetual Calendar features a 40mm carbon fiber case that is just 7.6mm thick. The dial includes a sectorial retrograde date at 12 o’clock, the month at 4 o’clock, a retrograde leap year indicator at 6 o’clock, and the day of the week at 8 o’clock. Each display can be adjusted via discreet correctors set into the case band. 
It is powered by the in-house BVL 305 automatic mechanical movement, operating at 21,600 vibrations per hour and offering a 60-hour power reserve. This movement comprises 408 components. Thanks to an off-center micro-rotor, the movement is only 2.75mm thick, and the perpetual calendar complication requires no manual adjustment until the year 2100. The watch has a water resistance of 100 meters and comes on a carbon fiber bracelet. The official price is 675,000 RMB.
