At Baselworld 2019, Bulgari introduced the Octo Finissimo Skeleton Ceramic, a striking new addition to its record-breaking ultra-thin collection. This marks the first time the Octo Finissimo skeleton model has been crafted entirely in ceramic, blending advanced materials with contemporary Italian design.
The black sandblasted ceramic case delivers a refined yet understated matte finish, radiating a deep, stealth-like presence. The 40mm octagonal case—a signature of the Octo line—measures only 5.5mm thick, making it exceptionally light and comfortable on the wrist.
The openworked dial reveals the full architecture of the movement:
-
The barrel at 2 o’clock,
-
The winding mechanism at 3 o’clock,
-
The balance wheel and ruby bearings at 5 o’clock,
-
The small seconds subdial at 7 o’clock,
-
And the power reserve indicator at 10 o’clock.
The deep gray bridges are finely satin-brushed, reflecting Bulgari’s meticulous attention to finishing and mechanical aesthetics from every angle.

Through the sapphire crystal caseback, one can admire the BVL 128SK hand-wound skeleton movement, specially designed for this model. The bridges feature circular geometric motifs, continuing the Octo’s architectural design language. Despite its complexity, the movement is only 2.35mm thick, while still providing an impressive 65-hour power reserve.
