To commemorate the 91.9 score achieved by the tourbillon pocket watch in the Royal Observatory competition in 1892, Baume & Mercier launched this limited edition flying tourbillon watch. The watch features a 45.5mm case with a crown design inspired by the traditional pocket watch winding mechanism, and retains the classic chevé shape crystal and curved lugs that are characteristic of the Baume & Mercier brand.
The dial design takes a more modern approach compared to the traditional Clifton series, with highly readable hour markers, a small seconds subdial at 6 o’clock, and the flying tourbillon at 9 o’clock, rotating once per minute. Through the sapphire crystal caseback, you can admire the Geneva stripe finish on the movement’s bridges.
This model is limited to just 30 pieces.
