This Perpetual Calendar Moonphase from Jaquet Droz is the most complex piece to date with an ivory-colored enamel dial. At 12 o’clock, you find the month and leap year indicator, while the date and weekday dials are symmetrically placed on the left and right, each equipped with a gold snake-shaped hand. At 6 o’clock, the gold moonphase disk is delicately carved, subtly revealing 8 stars. A particularly elegant design feature is the gradually increasing size of the letters on the weekday and date dials, which enhances legibility while imparting a flowing beauty to the dial.

The 43mm rose gold case fits perfectly on modern wrists, with the crown smoothly integrated into the design of the rounded bezel. Powered by Jaquet Droz’s in-house 5853LR.4 automatic movement, it benefits from a dual barrel design, allowing for a 65-hour power reserve.

To design a perpetual calendar with such complexity while maintaining elegance, there’s no other watchmaker quite like Jaquet Droz.
