Independent watchmaker Voutilainen unveiled the 28E Black Enamel Dial Watch at Baselworld 2019, featuring the first black Grand Feu enamel dial. All components — case, dial, hands, and movement — are fully crafted in-house, maintaining exceptional craftsmanship standards.
Case & Dial
The hand-satin-finished titanium case measures 39mm in diameter and 11.5mm thick, making it extremely light and comfortable. The black enamel dial is coated with a Grand Feu layer, while slightly raised Arabic numerals and Breguet-style hands accentuate the watch’s timeless elegance.
Movement & Performance
The hand-wound movement features a 13.6mm large balance wheel operating at 18,000 vph, with a 65-hour power reserve. Two integrated escapement wheels deliver energy efficiently to the balance wheel, enhancing stability, accuracy, and longevity. The movement contains 21 ruby bearings and showcases meticulously finished components, including Phillips hairspring and Grossmann curves.
