The Pelagos 39’s case is 3mm smaller in diameter than the original model. While the helium escape valve on the case side has been removed, it still offers a solid 200 meters of water resistance. The Grade 2 titanium case features a satin-brushed finish, and the unidirectional rotating bezel is fitted with a black ceramic insert. The crown and bezel feature larger grip teeth, providing superior handling during adjustments.

The black dial transitions from a matte finish to a sunray-brushed decoration. The sloped inner ring between the minute track and the main dial has been removed, and the hour marker blocks have been reduced in size. The “Pelagos” text at 6 o’clock has been changed from white to a more understated red. The most significant improvement is undoubtedly the removal of the 3 o’clock date window, resulting in a purer “grab-and-go” tool watch.
Powering the watch is the MT5400 self-winding movement. It operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour and provides a 70-hour power reserve. This movement is COSC-certified, guaranteeing an accuracy of -2/+4 seconds per day.
It comes with a satin-brushed titanium bracelet and includes an additional black rubber strap. The official price is €4,200.
