This platinum and Paraíba tourmaline bracelet is from the 2024 “Skye” High Jewelry collection by British jeweler David Morris. Its design draws inspiration from one of the most captivating astronomical phenomena: the “Starburst”. The designer deliberately selected electrifying blue Paraíba tourmalines as the primary stones, complemented by sapphires and diamonds, to create a dazzling visual feast.
The platinum bracelet is structured with rhombus and triangle-based decorative lines, finished with mirror-polishing to showcase flowing light and shadow. Round brilliant-cut diamonds evoke the pure, bright rays of a stellar explosion.
The bracelet’s wall is intricately set with over 10 oval-cut Paraíba tourmalines, with a total weight of 52.12 carats. Each centrally placed Paraíba tourmaline is framed by deep blue sapphires, reminiscent of the nebula surrounding the core of a starburst, inviting endless contemplation of the cosmos.
