Cartier introduces this eye-catching shankless cocktail ring in its 2024 “Libre Polymorph” high jewelry collection. Inspired by blooming spherical flower stamens, the designers have skillfully crafted a three-dimensional diamond-set crown that gracefully conforms to the contours of the finger, making it an undoubtedly striking choice for a cocktail ring.

The spherical crown is crafted in white gold and set with rose-cut diamonds at the top. Its openwork structure maximizes the brilliance of the diamonds while ensuring a lightweight wearing experience. The diamonds are meticulously graduated in size from the top to the base of the crown, creating a luxurious and mysteriously enchanting trompe l’oeil effect.

Particularly noteworthy is the spring-like mechanism connecting the upper and lower crowns, allowing them to sway subtly with the wearer’s movements, infusing the diamond’s sparkle with a sense of vitality.

The entire piece required 530 hours of meticulous craftsmanship.
