The Chronographe Médical is a single-pusher chronograph jointly created by Angelus and Massena LAB, inspired by a vintage doctor’s watch from the 1960s. Its unique feature lies in the inclusion of pulsometer and respiratory scales, allowing doctors to conveniently perform quick diagnostics on their patients. 
The 39mm stainless steel case, only 9.22mm thick, is lightweight and comfortable to wear. The dial layout remains largely faithful to the vintage original, featuring a white background with black markings for maximum legibility. The main differences include a sub-seconds dial at 9 o’clock positioned slightly closer to the center and modernized typography. Unfortunately, the new edition omits the original’s magnifying glass over the pulsometer scale, which somewhat reduces its playful charm. 
At the upper right of the dial lies the pulsometer scale. To use it, start the chronograph by pressing the 2 o’clock pusher; count ten heartbeats, then stop the chronograph. The central seconds hand will point to the corresponding pulse rate on the scale. The normal human heart rate ranges from 60 to 100 bpm—readings above 100 are marked in red (indicating tachycardia), while those below 60 are marked in green (indicating bradycardia). 
The red respiratory scale is printed on the inner ring of the seconds track. By timing five breaths, the wearer can easily determine the respiratory rate. Since the chronograph function serves exclusively these two medical purposes, the measurement capacity is limited to 60 seconds. 
Powering the watch is the manual-winding Calibre A5000, beating at 21,600 vph and offering a 42-hour power reserve. The watch comes with a brown calfskin strap and is limited to 99 pieces, priced at USD 19,900.
