In its 2014 “Rose Passion” collection, Piaget introduced this radiant white gold necklace, a celebration of the vibrant hues found in a blooming rose garden.
The piece is set with a lively array of rubellites, spessartine garnets, yellow sapphires, green tourmalines, aquamarines, blue sapphires, and diamonds, forming a rainbow of color that exudes vitality and romance.
The design primarily features pear-shaped gemstones, artfully combining standard and elongated proportions to create a layered, petal-like motif. At the center of the pendant lies a vivid red tourmaline, symbolizing the timeless allure of the red rose.
To echo the pendant’s colorful palette, the necklace strand alternates between diamonds and colored gemstones in a carefully balanced composition. The designer plays with contrast and rhythm—lighter gemstones gradually increase in size and adopt more slender cuts, with spacing that widens toward the back—creating a graceful sense of movement and visual flow throughout the piece.
